3 words: PURE... UNADULTERATED... FUN
It has one serious flaw... I haven't played in a few days because my 7, 12 and 14 yr old kids have been hogging the game! If I only knew all those years ago that this would happen, I would have seriously reconsidered having children :D.

How much do I love thee LBP?
Not being blessed with much gaming ability, I've never really strayed from my old stand-bys (Bubble Bobble and Tetris) because I typically get "killed" faster than a red-shirt on star trek...which ultimately leads to my utter frustration and stamping from the room stating "I don't want to play this game anymore", but not LBP! My boyfriend got this game for me for my birthday last week after I saw a review of it on TV and sat staring with my mouth agape. I adore this game; I can't say enough great things about it. It's just plain fun...with a big dose of kawaii and addictiveness to boot. The appeal is broad too...as real gamers like it just as much it seems. On a totally random side note...it appeals to my crafty sensibilities...so much so that I've begun to crochet my own little sackboy to dress up. I bet there will be an army of little knitty creatures out and about soon enough...ready to take over the world with yarny little hugs.

In a word: FUN!!
Recently purchased this game for my 8 year old son and I can honestly say this game is well worth every coin I paid for it. I play it as much as he does. I've been gaming for years and this is the first game I've seen in a long, long while that truly has something to offer to the casual gamer, the nongamer, and hardcore gamers alike. If you own a PS3 and don't already own this game, do yourself a favor and pick it up. You will not be disappointed in the least. Believe the hype, Sackboy will keep a smile on your face. Great game for family time, alone, or playing with friends online. LBP has so much to do, I don't see ever getting bored with it.

The most fun I've had on the PS3
LittleBigPlanet is a game changer. Many games have attempted to introduce user-created content into the mix in the past but none have nailed it quite the way LittleBigPlanet does. Throw in the most charming characters and environments in a video game to date and you got a real winner.

Some people complain that LittleBigPlanet loses some of its value if you are not interested in creating your own content. This is simply not true. I personally have zero desire to create my own levels, but between the excellent single-player levels included with the game and the steady supply of community content I feel that I have more than got my money's worth.

The big win for me is knowing that in a year from now this game will retain its value due to the community content. I can only name one other game in my collection I actively play a year after purchase (Call of Duty 4).
